Product Description

Plumbing Pipe bathroom vanity base designed to be used as a wall mounted bathroom vanity base for many domestic and commercial applications. This wall mounted pipe kit assembles to create a pipe framework base that will support a vanity top in place of a traditional vanity cabinet.  The design has been created to suit regular requirement where walls and floor remain accessible to clean. This vanity base would be perfect in a man-cave bathroom or a beach house for instance. This vanity base design would suit exposed waste P-trap piping in chrome or aged brass.

Base pipe components only supplied but the top can be timber bench, granite or man made marble type top. Pictured is a blackwood. Pictured is a top for a smaller bathroom at 1100mm x 610mm.

Vanity top and shelf

Due to the varied requirements and difficulty shipping, we expect that you will supply your own choice of vanity top or shelf. This can be a simply plywood or perhaps a timber top that is a little more exotic. The shelf can include extra pipe bars or you can fashion a shelf material to suit. The shelf depth of this unit is 200mm.

Add towel rail component to give a towel rail at the end of the cabinet. One at either end if you have space. These will be made  allowing for the width chosen when ordering and to match the plumbing pipe color chosen overall. These are made from half inch plumbing pipe components in galvanised, raw steel or painted flat black. Let us know if you prefer the lower straight arm version however.

Dimensions

Shown here at a height of 850mm at a length of 1100mm and width of 610mm but the dimensions required can be from a range selected when ordering. We limit the dimension options to ensure that your custom dimensions will be appropriate.

Plumbing Pipe heavy duty table legs DIY Kit consists of all base components required to assemble a sturdy vanity base. This vanity base kit uses our 1 inch 34mm construction fittings with Allen key screws, along with our thinner material one inch (34mm OSD) plumbing pipe. This allows for simple assembly and fine adjustment.

The pipe components can be left as galvanised or raw steel, or they can be ordered as painted flat black.

Custom vanity top dimensions

When ordering,  your vanity top to make a custom size kit you can allow for a little overhang of the front and sides. The back will need to be flush with pipe work to allow water sealing of the top.

Fixing

Supplied with special pipe lugged brackets to allow the top to be secured and also allows the whole unit to be secured to the wall. These lugged brackets are moveable to allow the point of fixing to be set to meet with timber framework where appropriate. Legs are are fitted with flanges that could also be fixed into the floor if required. We ship this kit part assembled so final assembly is a little less complex.

Hardware supplied

The pipe components are supplied for this DIY kit as part assembled and labelled.

All Galvanised fittings and pipe are cleaned of oil and scrubbed to a reasonable degree. This makes sure no oil remains internally that can weep after assembly.

All Raw steel fittings and pipe are cleaned of mineral oils and prepared with a light coating of Linseed oil. You should re-apply as needed to prevent rusting.

Painted pipework and fittings are cleaned to remove mineral oil and spray coated with primer and then final color. These are left to dry for 24 hours  and inspected prior to shipping
