Plumbing Pipe heavy duty trolley DIY Kit is a versatile castor wheels trolley designed to be used for many domestic and commercial applications. The design has been fashioned on and old style Tea Trolley but this could be used for light industrial work or to assist in a hobby type application at home. Great movable work table for plant potting, drinks trolley, outdoor entertainment, renovation work trolley, or any situation where you have some weight to move and a good flat surface to move over. Comes complete with four 75mm castors with two free and two with brake locks.

Trolley top and shelf

Due to the varied requirements and difficulty shipping, we expect that you will supply your own choice of trolley top or shelf. This can be a simply plywood or perhaps a timber top that is a little more exotic. Even a steel sheet top over mdf is a good surface. The shelf can be left as just pipe bars or you can fashion a shelf material to suit. Components are supplied to make attachment a simple screw in function.

Add  pushbar/towel rail components to give more usability for steering or use as a towel rail. These will be made  allowing for the width chosen when ordering and to match the plumbing pipe color chosen overall. These are made from half inch plumbing pipe components in galvanised, raw steel or painted flat black. These will have decorative flanges and wood screws supplied.

We can also add side bars to stop anything from sliding from the trolley when traveling and stopping. If two push bars are selected we will make side rails for length. If one push bar is selected will will make one side bars for both side and one end.

Dimensions

Shown here at a height of 850mm at a length of 900mm and width of 500mm but the dimensions required can be from a range selected when ordering. Best with a dimension combination that will provide stability and strength so not too tall and narrow would be the best combination. We limit the dimension options to ensure that your custom dimensions will be appropriate.

Plumbing Pipe heavy duty table legs DIY Kit consists of all base components required to assemble a sturdy trolley base. This kit comprises extra weight carrying capacity with three bracing components as a load carrying shelf. This trolley kit uses our 1 inch 34mm construction fittings with Allen key screws, along with our thinner material one inch (34mm OSD) plumbing pipe. This allows for simple assembly and adjustment.

The pipe components can be left as galvanised or raw steel, or they can be ordered as painted flat black.

Custom trolley top dimensions

When ordering,  your trolley top to make a custom table kit you can allow for a little overhang to make the top near flush to the pipe.

Hardware supplied

The pipe components are supplied for this DIY kit as part assembled and labelled.

All Galvanised fittings and pipe are cleaned of oil and scrubbed to a reasonable degree. This makes sure no oil remains internally that can weep after assembly.

All Raw steel fittings and pipe are cleaned of mineral oils and prepared with a light coating of Linseed oil. You should re-apply as needed to prevent rusting.

Painted pipework and fittings are cleaned to remove mineral oil and spray coated with primer and then final color. These are left to dry for 24 hours  and inspected prior to shipping
